In Year 1 we learn how to
use pencils, scissors and glue.
In Year 2 we learn to
construct our ideas out of different materials.
In Year 3 we begin to learn about how to use different tools safetly.
In Year 4 we learn how to generate ideas from our imagination in different ways and how to then develop these ideas into a final product.
In Year 5 we continue to develop our knowledge and understanding of working safely with tools, and how to use a Design Brief to guide our ideas.
In Year 6 we develop and refine all of our Design and Technology knowledge and understanding in preparation for lessons at Secondary school.
